We are mothers in the Capital of Texas area honoring our military children by serving and supporting military mothers, veterans, and gold star families throughout our community. We serve together to make a difference in honoring others as our children are serving or have served our country.

Our Mission

We serve because our children are serving or have served in the United States Military. We honor our children by supporting the military in our area or those who have walked before them and are now veterans, their brothers and sisters in arms. We support our Blue Star Sisters by being here for each other. By letting them know, although most mothers may not understand the struggles of our Sons and Daughters being away, not spending holidays or birthdays with us, we understand. Not knowing even where they are at times or knowing where they are and carrying that burden, we have each other. We lift up and love each other through the difficult times. We stand ready to honor, respect, support and love those families who have lost their active-duty son or daughter. We live with our mission of being a military Mother every day, our children are never far from our thoughts. We cry when the flag is flown, our hearts feel like they will burst with pride when America the Beautiful is played or when we lay our hand over hearts and say the Pledge of Allegiance. We bow our heads just a little longer when the prayers have ended.

We are the Blue Star Mothers.
